Description
Eragon for the original Xbox is a fantasy action-adventure game based on the 2006 film and the novel by Christopher Paolini. Follow young Eragon as his discovery of a mysterious dragon egg leads him into a dangerous conflict against the forces of the tyrannical King Galbatorix. Alongside his dragon Saphira and mentor Brom, Eragon must learn to fight as a Dragon Rider and help protect the people of Alagaësia.
Battle through environments inspired by the film using swords, bows, magical abilities, and powerful combination attacks. As Eragon develops his skills, he gains access to magic that can be used against enemies and to interact with parts of the environment. Certain stages also let players take to the skies with Saphira, adding aerial combat to the ground-based sword fighting and action.
Developed by Stormfront Studios and published by Sierra Entertainment in 2006, Eragon features a story-driven campaign with local cooperative play available during much of the adventure.
