Star Wars: Battlefront II for PlayStation 2 expands on the original hit with deeper gameplay, new modes, and the chance to experience iconic battles from across the Star Wars saga. Players can fight for the Galactic Republic, Separatists, Rebel Alliance, or Galactic Empire in large-scale battles set on planets like Hoth, Tatooine, and Endor. The single-player campaign is told from the perspective of the 501st Legion, also known as Vader’s Fist, chronicling their rise from Clone Troopers during the Clone Wars to elite Stormtroopers serving the Empire.
One of the most exciting additions is the ability to play as legendary heroes and villains such as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, and Darth Maul, each with unique powers and lightsaber combat. Space battles debut in this sequel, allowing players to pilot starfighters, destroy capital ships, and even board enemy cruisers for sabotage missions.
