Players assume the role of Will Grey, a cargo pilot who becomes stranded in a mysterious parallel dimension known as The Void after flying through a strange storm over the Bermuda Triangle.
As Will uncovers the secrets of this hostile realm, he joins a resistance movement fighting against the Watchers, a technologically advanced alien race seeking to dominate humanity. Armed with futuristic weapons and a powerful jetpack, players engage in fast-paced firefights both on the ground and in the air.
One of the game's defining features is its vertical combat system, which allows players to take cover on cliffs, buildings, and other surfaces while battling enemies from unique angles.
