Troll and I for PlayStation 4 is a third-person action-adventure game set in a rugged, myth-inspired Scandinavian wilderness. The story follows Otto, a young boy forced to flee his home after encountering a mysterious forest troll. Rather than becoming enemies, the two form an unlikely bond and set out on a journey through hostile landscapes filled with soldiers, wild animals, and environmental dangers. Together, they must survive while uncovering the deeper connection between humans, nature, and ancient creatures.
Gameplay revolves around the partnership between Otto and the Troll, with players switching between the two characters to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles. Otto relies on agility, stealth, and ranged tools, while the Troll uses brute strength to fight enemies, smash barriers, and manipulate the environment. Cooperative play is supported, allowing a second player to control one of the characters locally, emphasizing teamwork and coordination throughout the adventure.
