Skylanders Giants for the Wii is an action-adventure game that expands the Skylanders universe with a new chapter centered on ancient power and returning heroes. Set in the magical world of Skylands, the story follows the Portal Master as a new threat emerges from long-forgotten ruins. To stop an evil force from regaining control, players must awaken the Giants, towering elemental warriors who once protected Skylands and now return to restore balance.
The game introduces a new class of playable characters known as Giants, larger Skylanders with immense strength and unique abilities that allow them to interact with the environment in ways smaller characters cannot. Alongside these new heroes, many familiar Skylanders return, each aligned with elemental powers such as Fire, Water, Life, and Tech. Gameplay blends exploration, light puzzle-solving, and real-time combat, all enhanced by the physical toy-to-life figures that are placed on the Portal of Power to bring characters into the game.
Often referred to simply as Skylanders Giants, this Wii release builds on the foundation of Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure while adding deeper levels, expanded abilities, and cooperative play.
