Taz-Mania for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System is a side-scrolling platformer based on the hit animated television series starring the Tasmanian Devil. After discovering that his favorite giant kiwi bird has been captured, Taz sets off on a wild adventure across Tazmania to rescue it, encountering familiar Looney Tunes characters and plenty of over-the-top obstacles along the way.
Run, jump, and unleash Taz's signature whirlwind spin attack to defeat enemies, smash through obstacles, and navigate a variety of colorful levels inspired by the cartoon. Journey through forests, caves, rivers, and other imaginative environments while collecting food, avoiding hazards, and taking on memorable bosses. Each stage introduces new platforming challenges that require quick reflexes and careful timing to overcome.
Developed by Recreational Brainware and published by Sunsoft in 1993, Taz-Mania captures the fast-paced humor and energetic personality of the animated series with colorful visuals, lively animation, and accessible gameplay.
