The Nintendo DSi in Matte Black is a refined, feature-rich iteration of the Nintendo DS family, designed to be 12% thinner than the preceding DS Lite by removing the Game Boy Advance slot for a more streamlined profile. It features dual 3.25-inch backlit LCD screens that are larger and brighter than previous models, along with two 0.3-megapixel cameras for photo capture and interactive editing. The system serves as a multimedia hub, capable of playing AAC music files and recording voice clips through the Nintendo DSi Sound software.

This model introduced the DSiWare digital storefront, allowing users to download games and utilities directly to the 256MB of internal flash memory. It includes an SD card slot for expandable storage, which is essential for saving photos, music, and downloaded applications. While remaining backward compatible with the massive library of physical Nintendo DS cartridges, the DSi features a processor twice as fast as its predecessor to support specialized DSi-enhanced titles.

Refurbished: Cleaned inside and out with attention to the cartridge slot, power/reset switches, and AV/multi-out ports. Components like screens, batteries, and other parts are replaced as needed. Included controller has been cleaned and tested.
