In Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, players embark on a swashbuckling journey that spans the plots of both Dead Man's Chest and At World's End. Developed by Eurocom, the game goes beyond the films with additional missions, such as Jack’s escape from a high-security prison and a deep dive into the legend of the Nine Pirate Lords. You primarily alternate between Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and Elizabeth Swann, each with their own unique combat style, as you travel from the bustling docks of Singapore to the surreal, white sands of Davy Jones' Locker.
The Wii version is built around a heavy use of motion-controlled swordplay. Swinging the Wii Remote side-to-side triggers light attacks, while vertical swings deliver heavy, shield-breaking blows. A signature feature of the Wii edition is the "Jackanism"—interactive quick-time events where you must mimic Jack’s eccentric movements with the remote to perform cinematic stunts or escape traps. While the game features typical action-adventure combat, it also includes "Pirate Dice" and "Pirate Poker" mini-games, allowing you to gamble your gold for rare items and character unlocks.
