Scarface: The World Is Yours on the Wii is an enhanced 2007 port of the open-world action-adventure game that serves as a "what if" sequel to the 1983 cult classic film. Players take control of Tony Montana immediately following the mansion shootout, tasked with reclaiming his drug empire in a 1980s-inspired Miami. While the game features Al Pacino’s likeness, the character is voiced by André Sogliuzzo (hand-picked by Pacino), and the script was penned by David McKenna (American History X) to ensure an authentic cinematic tone.
The Wii version is technically defined by its Precision IR Aiming, which replaces the dual-analog sticks of other consoles with the Wii Remote for much faster and more accurate gunplay. The game utilizes the "Balls Meter," filled by performing daring stunts, taunting enemies, or targeting specific body parts like the "Left Nut" for bonus points. Shaking the Nunchuk triggers Tony’s iconic taunts, while a more vigorous shake when the meter is full activates Blind Rage Mode, shifting the game into an invincible first-person perspective with infinite ammo.
Graphically, the Wii version features "enhanced graphics" compared to the PlayStation 2 release, offering cleaner textures and a more stable frame rate. The gameplay is a deep business sim hidden within a GTA-style sandbox; you must purchase "Fronts" to distribute cocaine, manage "Dirty" vs. "Clean" cash, and buy "Exotics"—ranging from luxury furniture to a private henchman—to increase your Reputation Level. Notably, the game respects the film’s character logic: Tony cannot kill innocent civilians, as he refuses to "fuck anyone who didn’t already have it coming".
