Operation Darkness is a tactical role-playing game for the Xbox 360 that blends World War II history with supernatural and horror elements. Developed by Success and published by Atlus, the game is set in an alternate version of Europe where Allied forces battle not only enemy armies, but also dark occult threats.
Gameplay is built around turn-based, grid-based tactical combat, emphasizing positioning, unit roles, and careful planning. Players command a squad of soldiers with specialized classes such as snipers, medics, and heavy weapons experts, each offering unique abilities. Combat encounters require managing cover, elevation, and line of sight while adapting to enemy tactics.
