Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing for PlayStation 3 is a fast-paced kart racing game that brings together many of SEGA's most iconic characters for an action-packed competition across imaginative tracks inspired by the company's legendary franchises. Developed by Sumo Digital and published by SEGA, players race as fan favorites including Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, Dr. Eggman, AiAi, Amigo, Beat, Ryo Hazuki, and many more.
Players compete across vibrant courses based on classic SEGA games, including Sonic's Green Hill Zone, Super Monkey Ball, Billy Hatcher, House of the Dead, and other memorable worlds. Each racer has unique vehicle handling characteristics and a powerful All-Star Move that can dramatically change the outcome of a race, adding excitement and strategy to every competition.
A variety of game modes includes Grand Prix, Single Race, Time Trial, Missions, and local and online multiplayer. During races, players collect power-ups such as rockets, mines, speed boosts, and defensive items to outmaneuver opponents while drifting through corners and mastering shortcuts to reach the finish line first.
