The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct for Xbox 360 is a first-person survival action game inspired by AMC's hit television series. Developed by Terminal Reality and published by Activision, the game serves as a prequel to the TV show, following brothers Daryl Dixon and Merle Dixon as they fight to survive the early days of the zombie apocalypse while making their way toward the supposed safety of Atlanta.
Players must carefully manage limited supplies while navigating abandoned towns, forests, highways, and rural communities overrun by walkers. Every decision matters as food, ammunition, fuel, and medical supplies are scarce. Stealth often proves just as valuable as combat, allowing players to quietly eliminate walkers with crossbows, knives, and other silent weapons or avoid dangerous encounters altogether.
Throughout the journey, players meet other survivors who can join the group and assist with scavenging missions, each bringing unique skills but also new risks.
