God of War Collection - PlayStation 3 brings the first two mainline God of War adventures together in one remastered package. The collection includes God of War and God of War II, following Kratos through his violent struggle against the gods of Olympus. Both games combine Greek mythology, cinematic storytelling, large-scale boss battles, and the series’ signature blend of action, platforming, and puzzle solving.
Gameplay centers on fast-paced combat using Kratos’ chained blades, along with magic abilities, secondary weapons, and upgradeable attacks. Players battle mythological creatures, solve environmental puzzles, navigate hazardous platforming sections, and defeat powerful bosses across both campaigns. The PlayStation 3 collection remasters the original PlayStation 2 releases with higher-resolution graphics, smoother performance, and Trophy support.
Developed by Santa Monica Studio and remastered for PlayStation 3 by Bluepoint Games, God of War Collection was published by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2009. It offered one of the earliest high-definition remaster collections on the system and remains an appealing way to experience Kratos’ original adventures for God of War fans, action-game enthusiasts, and PlayStation 3 collectors.
