Descent Maximum for PlayStation is a fast-paced first-person shooter that takes place deep inside underground mines and industrial tunnels where hostile robots have taken control. Players pilot a heavily armed spacecraft capable of moving freely in all directions, creating intense six-degree-of-freedom combat unlike traditional shooters.
Missions send players through twisting corridors, vertical shafts, and large underground chambers while battling enemy drones, defense systems, and powerful bosses. The spacecraft can strafe, rotate, and maneuver in every direction while firing a variety of weapons designed to destroy robotic enemies and navigate dangerous environments.
