Quest 64 for Nintendo 64 is a fantasy role-playing game that follows a young magician named Brian as he journeys across the kingdom of Celtland. After his father disappears while searching for the powerful Eletale Book, Brian sets out to find him and prevent the magical artifact from being misused.
Players explore a variety of locations including villages, forests, caves, and castles while encountering monsters and uncovering clues along the way. Combat takes place in a turn-based system where Brian uses elemental magic tied to four elements—Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind—each offering different spells and abilities.
As players progress, they can develop Brian’s magical skills by focusing on different elements, shaping how he fights enemies and solves challenges. With its open environments, unique magic system, and early 3D RPG design, Quest 64 for Nintendo 64 offers a memorable role-playing adventure from the N64 era.
