Overlord for Xbox 360 is a dark fantasy action-adventure game where players take on the role of a newly revived Overlord, a powerful ruler destined to spread chaos across the land. Emerging from a ruined tower, the Overlord commands an army of mischievous minions while setting out to conquer territories, defeat rival heroes, and rebuild a fallen evil empire.
The core gameplay revolves around controlling different types of minions, each with unique abilities. Brown minions excel in combat, red minions use fire attacks, green minions specialize in stealth and poison, and blue minions can revive fallen allies. Players direct these minions to fight enemies, solve environmental puzzles, gather resources, and carry out destructive tasks throughout the world.
