Medal of Honor: Vanguard for Wii is a World War II first-person shooter that places players in the role of a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. The game follows key airborne operations across Europe as players are dropped behind enemy lines to complete dangerous missions during the war.
Each mission begins with a parachute drop, allowing players to steer their landing zone and choose how to approach objectives. Once on the ground, players engage in combat across a variety of environments, including towns, forests, and military strongholds, using authentic WWII weapons.
The Wii version features motion-based controls for aiming, shooting, and reloading, adding a different feel to combat.
