The Urbz: Sims in the City - GameCube takes The Sims series into a stylized urban setting where reputation, fashion, and social connections are key to success. Players create a character and explore different city districts, meeting distinctive Urbz, completing goals, and building enough reputation to gain access to new areas and social circles.
Gameplay combines traditional Sims-style needs management with a stronger focus on missions, relationships, jobs, and district-specific objectives. Players can customize their Urb’s appearance, decorate apartments, earn money through work, learn new social interactions, and increase their reputation by impressing influential characters. Each neighborhood has its own visual style, music, residents, and challenges, giving the game a more structured progression than many traditional Sims titles.
